JOB DESCRIPTION
As a ERP Pre-sales Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in driving pre-sales strategies aligned with sales objectives and company goals. This entails collaborating closely with sales leadership to define target markets and tailor approaches to meet specific customer needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct detailed discovery sessions with prospective clients to understand their business requirements, objectives, and pain points.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of our products, services, and solutions, along with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Develop and deliver high-quality proposals, presentations, and technical workshops to effectively showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
- Customize the demo sessions to align with client needs and demonstrate its functionality across various modules including order management, inventory management, cost accounting, and financial accounting.
- Study, analyze, integrate and architect infrastructure solutions according to customer’s business, technical and operational requirement
- Provide training, consulting services and technical advice to internal teams i.e sales and product team.
- Collaborate with the sales team to tailor product presentations and demonstrations according to the specific needs of each prospect.
- Respond to Request for Proposals (RFPs) by providing accurate answers to clients
- Proactively challenge the status quo by showcasing best practices and process optimizations that add value to prospective clients‘ businesses.
REQUIREMENTS
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Bachelor‘s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in pre-sales or functional consulting roles within the software, technology, or IT sectors.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with ERP software (preferably Odoo platform)
- Proficiency in delivering presentations using various tools including PowerPoint, web meetings, videos, and other presentation tools alongside ERP expertise.
- Strong technical acumen enabling comprehension of complex technological concepts and their translation into tangible business value.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively address diverse client requirements.
- Outstanding customer-facing abilities, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration with stakeholders across all levels.
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills, enabling effective engagement within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
